However, about the previous year’s trends, it can be said that getting a government college with either MBBS or BDS course at this rank is impossible.

Hello,
With 660 marks in RE-NEET 2026 under the SC category from Assam, you have a competitive score. Admission to AIIMS Delhi MBBS is highly competitive, and the final selection depends on your All India Rank, SC category rank, counselling trends, seat availability, and cutoff.
While it is difficult to confirm admission based on marks alone, you do have a chance if your SC category rank falls within the closing ranks during MCC counselling. Participate in all rounds of AIQ counselling and keep AIIMS Delhi as one of your preferences, along with other AIIMS and top government medical colleges.
All the best!
Hello,
With 480 marks in RE-NEET 2026 under the EWS category, securing an MBBS seat in a government medical college may be challenging, especially in the All India Quota. However, your chances depend on your All India Rank, state, domicile, category-wise cutoff, and counselling trends.
You should participate in both All India Quota (AIQ) and State Counselling. Also keep options such as BDS, AYUSH (BAMS/BHMS), and private medical colleges as backup choices.
Hello,
Getting an MBBS seat in Karnataka with 460 marks is quite difficult, even if you belong to Category 1, Ex-serviceman, and HK category in government colleges. However, you have a good chance of getting a seat in the private medical colleges through the government-quota seats in private medical colleges. You also have a decent chance of getting a Government BDS or AYUSH (BAMS/BHMS) seat.
