Established in the year 2011, the Mahatma Gandhi University of Medical Sciences and Technology, situated in Jaipur, Rajasthan, holds the distinction of being the inaugural Private Medical University in the state. The university has gained official recognition from the University Grants Commission (UGC). On the notable date of October 2, 2000, the formal inauguration of Mahatma Gandhi Hospital (MGH) took place.

Accredited by the National Medical Commission (NMC) and approved by the Government of India (GOI), the Mahatma Gandhi Medical College and Hospital offers an extensive array of undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) programs spanning various medical specialties, including Super Specialty programs in medical and surgical disciplines such as DM and M.Ch. Additionally, MGUMST is home to a PG Dental College, which has earned recognition from the Dental Council of India (DCI), along with a PG Nursing College, a Post Graduate Physiotherapy & OT College, and a wide range of other courses in the fields of medicine and related disciplines.

MGUMST offers various UG, PG, PG Certificate, Super Specialty, and M.Phil, PhD courses. Admission is offered through counseling and a written entrance exam is also conducted by the university. Students need to fulfill the admission requirements before applying for admission. The varsity offers various facilities which include a library, and a hostel for boys and girls. The institute has 1500 beds in the hospital.

The Mahatma Gandhi Hospital stands as the state government's largest privately designated tertiary COVID care center. Our guiding principle has been to prepare for the worst while maintaining optimism. The institution has established an extensive infrastructure featuring more than 1000 beds equipped with piped oxygen supply, up to 400 ICU beds supported by nearly 150 ventilators, 5 ECMO units, oxygen concentrators, 1400 oxygen cylinders, and the state's most extensive oxygen generation system to serve as a backup for our liquid medical oxygen reserves.

The University is situated in RIICO institutional areas, Sitapura, Jaipur. The distance of the university from the Jaipur railway station is 22.5km. It may take approx. 45 minutes to reach the university. Students can use public transport for traveling.

Yes my college has all necessary infrastructure nd all equipment......it also has 2 sports group one cricket and one basketball ground with wifi and class are also advance with smart board.... And the living space is also clean

No ,the admission for the Bsc nursing 2019-20 may not be available because the session is might be started already.

But yes ,now you can apply for the admission of 2020-21 session because the admission are about to start.

basic brief about university :

Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) in Nursing is a four-year full-time program that is the undergraduate level in the nursing course offered by Mahatma Gandhi University of Medical Sciences and Technology, Jaipur and approved by Indian Nursing Council (INC).

eligibility;

No candidate shall be allowed to be admitted to the nursing curriculum of the first year of the B.Sc. Nursing course until or otherwise.
• He / She has completed the age of 17 years but not completed 28 years in case of females & 25 years in case of males, as on 31st December of the academic year.
• He / She has passed a qualifying examination as under:
• The senior secondary examination or the Indian School Certificate Examination which is equivalent to 10+2 examination after a period of 12 years study, the last two years of the study comprising of Physics, Chemistry, Biology or any other elective subject with English as compulsory subject (English at a level not less than the core course or English as prescribed by the NCERT).

Tuition Fee :

Rs. 80,000/- per annum. In addition, student will give cash security / Bank guarantee of 3 years of balance course duration amounting to Rs. 2,40,000/- at the time of admission.
Caution Money: Rs. 10000/- (interest free refundable on completion of Course)
