BHU MBBS Merit ListBHU MBBS Merit List 2017: The Institute of Medical Sciences, Banaras Hindu Univerversity (IMS BHU) will declare the BHU MBBS BDS 2017 merit list mostly in the month of June 2017. BHU MBBS BDS merit list 2017 will be on the basis of candidate’s score obtained in NEET 2017. Admissions to BHU undergraduate medical and dental will be on the basis of 85% state quota seats. For admissions to 15% All India Quota seats, it will be done by Medical Counselling Committee (MCC). The merit list BHU MBBS BDS  2017 will include details like name of the candidate,  NEET roll number, All India Rank scored by candidate in NEET 2017, BHU application number, father’s and mother’s name, date of birth, gender and category. Aspirants will be notified and called for BHU MBBS BDS counselling as per their rank in the merit list of BHU MBBS BDS 2017. There will be no separate entrance test conducted by IMS BHU so the merit list will be prepared on the candidates score in NEET 2017 for admission to its MBBS and BDS programmes.

The merit list of BHU MBBS BDS will be declared only for those candidates who qualify NEET 2017 entrance exam. As per NEET 2017 cut off marks, candidates must obtain at least 50 percentile in NEET 2017 under Unreserved Category. Candidates under Persons with Disability (PWD) in unreserved category have to obtain 45 percentile and for Reserved and Persons with Disability (PWD) category the cut off marks is 40 percentile.

After the declaration made by Supreme Court to make NEET (UG) 2017 as a single qualifying examination for admissions to central, government, private, deemed institutions across India, all other institution or state level exams have been scrapped. On the basis of merit, allotment of 71 out of 84 MBBS and 42 out of 50 BDS seats will be done. The remaining seats will be allotted on the basis of 15% All India Quota.
