This year, AIIMS PG 2017 July session is scheduled to be conducted on May 7, 2017 for providing admissions to approximately 183 MD & MS seats and 7 MDS seats across 5 AIIMS institutions.

The topics which will be covered in AIIMS PG 2017 is given below:

  • Pre-clinical - Physiology, Bio-chemistry, Anatomy

  • Para-clinical - Pathology, Pharmacology, Microbiology, Forensic Medicine, Community Medicine, etc.

  • Clinical – Paediatrics, Obstetrics and gynaecology, Community Medicine, Medicine and allied subjects (Psychiatry, Dermatology), etc.

  • Surgery and allied subjects - Ophthalmology, Orthopaedics, E.N.T., Anaesthesiology, etc.

The result for AIIMS PG 2017 July session will be declared on May 13, 2017. According to the official brochure, candidates have to secure a minimum of 50 percentile in order to qualify it, irrespective of their category.

After declaring the result, the exam conducting authority, AIIMS, New Delhi, will begin the first counseling round on June 5, followed by second and third counseling on June 13 and August 24, 2017, respectively.
