    The National Testing Agency has announced re-NEET 2026 exam date. The exam will now be conducted on June 21, 2026. The NTA will declare the NEET Result 2026 on its official website neet.nta.nic.in. The exact NEET 2026 result date has not been announced yet. Once declared, students can check and download their NEET UG 2026 result using the direct link that will be provided here.

    The NEET Result 2026 will be used for admission to courses like MBBS, BDS, BSc Nursing, AYUSH, BVSc & AH, and other allied health programs. Along with the result, the authority will also release the NEET 2026 qualifying marks. Students who score equal to or above the cutoff in the NEET UG Result 2026 will be eligible for counselling. Through the NEET counselling process, candidates can get admission to medical, dental, and AYUSH colleges across India.

    NEET UG 2026 result: Tie-Breaking criteria

    In cases where two or more candidates have obtained the same score, NEET tie-breaking criteria is applied to get an inter-se-merit of All India Rank in NEET result. Medical aspirants can check the tie-breaking criteria used in the NEET merit list 2026 below.

    • Biology marks: Aspirants who have scored higher in Biology will be preferred over others in NEET 2026 result.
    • Chemistry marks: If the above criteria do not work, then aspirants who have scored higher in Chemistry will be given preference.
    • Physics marks: If the tie still persists, candidates with higher marks in Physics will be placed in a higher position.
    • Number of incorrect answers: If the tie is still there, students with less number of incorrect answers in the complete test will be allotted a better rank.
    • The number of incorrect answers in particular subjects: If the tie still exists, then the students with less number of incorrect answers in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics, respectively, will be given preference.
    • Random process: At last, the tie will be resolved through a random process with the guidance of an independent expert committee.

    I actually put best of 5 marks based on CBSE ( 90.8%) instead of PCB aggregate (89.2%) during my neet UG registration. I uploaded the original documents of my class 12 marksheet. will it cancel my candidature during my counselling? and do i have to make an affidavit for that, clerical error.

    During NEET UG registration , candidates must enter the PCB aggregate percentage (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) and not the “Best of 5” percentage.

    In your case, entering 90.8% instead of 89.2% is likely a calculation mistake rather than an eligibility issue, since both are above the required cutoff
