AIIMS MBBS 2017 - The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) New Delhi will conduct AIIMS MBBS 2017 on May 28 for admission MBBS seats in 7 AIIMS like institutions. The application process for AIIMS MBBS 2017 has started from January 24, 2017 for the eligible candidates to register for the test. The last date to fill the application forms is Thursday, February 23, 2017. The AIIMS MBBS 2017 will be a Computer Based Test (CBT) for 3 hours & 30 minutes. The online exam will be conducted in two slots – Morning (9:00 am to 12:30 pm) and Forenoon Sessions (3:00 pm to 6:30 pm). Candidates have to appear for the online test as per slot allotted to them. Candidates who apply for AIIMS MBBS entrance exam 2017 are advised to read the eligibility criteria to ascertain their age and qualification as required by examination authority, AIIMS New Delhi.
AIIMS MBBS 2017 Eligibility Criteria are given below:
Nationality – Candidates must be Indian nationals. Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) are also eligible
Foreign candidates are not required to appear for the entrance examination
Age: Candidates must complete 17 years at the time of admission or will complete the age on or before December 31, 2017
Date of Birth: Candidates must have born on or after January 2, 2000 are not eligible
Education Qualification: Applicants have passed the 12 Class with English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology subjects from Senior School Certificate Examination (CSBE) or Intermediate Science (I.Sc.) or same examination from a recognised University/ Board

General and OBC candidates must have passed 10+2/HSC in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English with 60% marks while for SC/ST the qualifying marks is 50%
The online application procedure of AIIMS MBBS 2017 has started from January 24, 2017, and will continue till February 23, 2017. It must be noted that the application form can be submitted in online mode only and no any other mode of application will be accepted.

The cost of AIIMS MBBS application form is Rs. 1000 for General/OBC and Rs. 800 for SC/ST category candidates. OPH Candidates is exempted from paying the examination fee. The examination fee can be remitted through Debit/Credit Card/Bank Challan along with applicable service tax.
The exam will be conducted in online mode i.e. computer based test (CBT). The online question booklet of AIIMS MBBS 2017 exam will have 200 multiple choice and reason-assertion type questions from Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Zoology & Botany) and General Knowledge. The admit card of AIIMS MBBS 2017 will be available from May 1, 2017. AIIMS MBBS 2017 admit card will be available for those candidates only whose application form will be accepted. Candidates can download admit card by entering their application number and password. After downloading the admit card, candidates are advised to verify all the entries in the admit card such as name, address, exam roll number, photograph, signature, allotted exam centre, etc. Candidates are advised to preserve the AIIMS MBBS admit card 2017 till the completion of admission process as it will required at the time of counselling and admission process for identity verification.
AIIMS MBBS Syllabus 2017
The syllabus of AIIMS MBBS 2017 will be based on Class 11 and 12- Physics, Chemistry and Biology subjects. Further, as the question paper will consist of General Knowledge and aptitude section of 20 questions, it is advised by the toppers to read news papers on daily basis. Candidates can also watch news channels to enhance their knowledge on current affairs.
AIIMS MBBS Exam Day Guidelines
Candidates are advised to reach the designated exam centre one hour prior to the time as mentioned in the admit card because they have to go through security checks and biometric verification. Candidates do not have to carry any textual or digital materials except admit card to the examination hall otherwise they will be debarred from taking examination.
Candidates have to carry their AIIMS MBBS 2017 admit card to the examination centre along with any of the id proof for validation their identity. The stationery materials for the rough work will be provided at the centre.

AIIMS MBBS 2017 entrance exam is computer based test so getting the answer key is not possible. Candidates who are looking for the answer key must note that the answer key will have no authentic source and validity of it. Generally coaching institutes release the answer key for those exams whose question paper is available after the exam.
The examination authority will declare the result of AIIMS MBBS 2017 on June 14. The result will be declared for only those candidates who will secure the qualifying percentile as prescribed by the examination authority. The AIIMS MBBS result 2017 will be declared rank wise as well as roll number wise. To check result candidates have to look for their name, roll number, father’s name and category in the result list.
AIIMS MBBS 2017 cut off score is the benchmark to select only deserving candidates for counselling procedure. As per the AIIMS MBBS 2017 qualifying criteria the cut off score for general category candidates is 50% while for OBC candidates have to score 45% in the entrance exam. The cut off will be determined on the basis of percentile as the examination will be held in two shifts and a Normalization Procedure will be used to determining the qualifying criteria. In the event of the percentiles for the two shifts being dissimilar / unequal, the lower of the two will be the eligibility cut-off for that category for all candidates i.e. both shifts.

AIIMS MBBS Merit List 2017
The merit list will be prepared by examination authority as per the candidate’s score in the entrance exam. AIIMS MBBS 2017 merit list will be prepared only the qualified candidates. As per the rank in the merit list candidates will be called for counselling for allotment 700 MBBS seats in any of the 7 AIIMS.
The counselling of AIIMS MBBS 2017 will be held for allocation of MBBS seats at AIIMS, New Delhi. The AIIMS MBBS counselling 2017 will be conducted in offline mode in which candidates have to attend the counselling in person as per the allotted date and time as per their rank. The total number of candidate to be called for counselling will be 4 times the seats available in each category.
